Mountain Bike Skills Courses
I would definitely recommend the course to someone looking to enhance their riding skills. The logical breakdown of riding technique and skills, with demonstration, guidance during attempts and reinforcement during practice worked very well. The level of skill progression was significant compared to attempting things on my own and copying other riders over a much longer period of time - Andy, Luton (Intermediate Skills, Glentress)

Wilderness Skills
Wilderness Skills is a two day course aimed at mountain bikers who wish to extend their riding into wilder, higher, more inhospitable terrain.
You will learn skills and techniques which mean you will be able to undertake epic rides in safety and comfort. You will be less likely to get into a potentially dangerous situation, and better equipped to deal with problems when they arise.
Among the topics covered on the course are how to set up your bike for epic rides and fix serious trailside mechanical problems, what equipment to carry on a remote ride, and how to navigate using a map and compass.
All training is done outside, on the bike in appropriate terrain. There are no dull classroom sessions, so as well as learning valuable skills, you’ll get two days of fantastic mountain bike riding.
