Equipment Hire
We have a range of expedition equipment available for hire. This equipment is ideally suited for use on our Wilderness Camping trips, or you may want to hire it for your own expedition.
Mountain Bike Trailers
Trailers are the ultimate off road luggage carrier. They can fit through any gap your pedals will go through, bounce over just about any obstacle and even add a bit of rear wheel traction on slippery climbs.
Our trailers have a load capacity of 35kg, and come with a 90 litre waterproof bag. They mount to your bike with a special quick release skewer, and will fit 29ers and road bikes as well as standard 26” MTB wheels. The trailer is easily removed for lifting over gates etc.
Trailers are supplied with full instructions and a spare inner tube for the trailer tyre.

Trangia 25 Stoves
Trangia are long established as the benchmark for simple reliable outdoor stoves. We supply the Trangia 25-1 version which is suitable for up to 4 people. The 25-1 kit comes with 1.5L and 1.75L saucepans and frying pan, and runs on Methylated Spirits.
You will need to supply your own fuel and matches. As a guide, Trangia recommend 0.5L of methylated spirits per person per week.

Tents
We have selected a number of 2 person, 3 season tents from different manufacturers which we think are ideally suited to wilderness camping in Scotland. They have been chosen for their ability to withstand Scotland’s weather, with consideration given to ease of use, living space and light weight.
Tents are supplied with full instructions, a groundsheet protector and repair kit.

There is a security deposit associated with all hire equipment. Damage to any equipment will result in the hirer being charged the full cost of repair or replacement.
